I just added a Bokeh Kit to the shop. There are so many options and its so fun to play with! AND it's only $10.00 compared to $25.00 at other locations!

Here's a picture of what the bokeh kit comes with (also includes rubberband, not pictured):

This is what Bokeh looks like without the kit:

And here are some pictures I've previously shot using a Bokeh Kit:

So fun! I love them! The kit also comes with shapes like music notes, lightening bolts, batman symbols, hearts, stars, paw print, etc. so there are so many different ways to use them! For those who don't know how Bokeh works, its any light source that is out of focus. Christmas lights, intersection street lights, candles, city lights, etc. work great!

Instructions for using your Bokeh Kit:

  • The Kit is made to fit a 50mm lens, however it can fit others as well. It measures 3 inches across at its widest point.
  • To secure kit to your lens, bend the four straight limbs at the circle and place round part on front of lens. Then rubber-band the four limbs down. It should now be secured on your lens and should not fall off.
  • Choose your bokeh shape and slip circle into the two slits in the inner circle. You should now have one big black circle with only the small shape in the center as your opening.
  • Now focus on a subject, with lights out of focus in your background (don't worry how it looks through your view finder) and take a picture. You should see the shapes now in the background. If they aren't working right, it might be that your lights aren't out of focus enough, which means you need to bring your subjects further away from the lights.

Its very simple and easy! The same kit made out of plastic is found for $25.00 at other locations, so just by using paper, you save $15.00! This is also why I include TWO bokeh shape holders, just incase one rips :)

Contact me for any price concerns or questions! :)
