Unsure where to take your couples pictures in American Fork, Utah during Winter? I highly recommend Tibble Fork! This Couples photoshoot with their dog was gorgeous during the winter when everything was covered in snow, even though nothing had snow outside of the canyon! It gives you a perfect winter look even when snowfall is limited.

Tibble Fork is such a great location because of the variety you can get.
It takes about 15 minutes to get to this location from the base of American Fork canyon. There is an entrance fee per car. You can park in the Tibble Fork parking lot, and from there walk to each spot. There are tons of locations to shoot at here, so even when its crowded, you can find places to go. On one side of the lake there are tall trees that give a woodsy look. On the other side you have pretty mountain and lake views. There is a a big open field, and a field with sage brush, and fence. You can also do some down by the water or further up the road there is just field and views of mountains without the lake and without the people!

Lehi Utah Family Photographer

This location is found near Lehi, Utah is gorgeous! However it will all be developed soon, no doubt. Its near traverse mountain where every last bit of land is being built on. This location really only works when its cloudy, or in the morning. We lucked out with clouds this day! We had another spot planned, but I hadn't been there in a while and when we drove there, it was all under construction! So we drove to this spot and luckily found this perfect little patch with no obstructions of those gorgeous mountains! The cloudy sky gave us the prettiest pink and purple mountains and beautiful lighting.

Mini Sessions in Utah County Photography

I offer mini sessions year round, and can be booked any time here. Mini sessions are perfect for families with who don't want to be out in the cold for very long when you are getting your pictures done in the winter months!

This location is found near American Fork, Utah right next to and is so perfect for family photography and a really great spot for Family mini session Photography with younger kids because of the beauty this place offers in a close distance. It is easy to get to, right below a park. You will have to walk down a little dirt path but nothing too steep, although I would consider this too steep for anyone who isn't sturdy on their feet. There is a big field with lots of sage colored brush and trees. There is also a golden or green (depending on the time of year) field with the prettiest lighting. This location does not change colors in the fall, so its also a great spot for those who do not want fall colors, but have their session scheduled in September to October or early November. These pictures were taken in November, when everything else had died and hadn't snowed yet, and the park still looked great!

Sandy, Utah Photographer near SLC

Sandy, Utah and the surrounding areas are such beautiful locations to shoot in. I loved meeting this family, who had recently moved here to the Sandy area in SLC county.

Extended Family Pictures in Utah

This extended family photography session was so cold. We chose this park area in Sandy, Utah because it was almost quite literally in their backyards, and for some of the families just about 5 minutes away. It was super convenient for everyone to meet up there. Keeping your kids warm during a winter photoshoot is super important and I was really happy that they dressed their kids in sweaters, brought gloves and scarves, and had big blankets.

All extended family sessions are around an hour and you will receive at least 75 edited images. Extended family sessions come with at least one whole group shot, grandchildren, grandchildren and grandparents, siblings, and we spend about 5-10 minutes with each individual family to get at least 3 poses, their children together, and parents together.

In Home Lifestyle Photographer in Utah County

In-home family pictures are so fun to do! It keeps you a good temperature when it's less than ideal outside (think windy, rainy, too hot, or too cold!) You won't have to worry about your kids spilling something on themselves in the car, or falling asleep in the car on the way to the shoot, or long car rides! The only downside is that your house should be clean, and that does add one more thing to your to-do list!

Michelle used to be my neighbor and I love her and her family! They ask me every year to come photograph their family of 7 inside of their home! Its so fun to get the same shots and poses every year, while also being creative to get new pictures in the same space.

Family Photography with Teens

Make getting family pictures a priority in your life so you always have beautiful images to look back on! Getting family pictures done when your kids have grown and are now adults or teens can feel completely different than getting pictures done when they were babies and toddlers! Its a lot less hectic, and your posing will be different. I absolutely love spending time with teens when they don't mind still hugging or leaning in toward mom and dad. Some teens want nothing to do with that, though, which can lead to posing challenges, but we always still get beautiful photos! I know how to pose teens so that even if they don't want to be too close, they still look great and apart of the family.

Kamas and Park City Utah

Park City and the surrounding areas are such beautiful locations to shoot in. I have photographed this family many times before, and they recently moved to this home near Park City. We did their extended family pictures in their backyard, with stunning views of the mountains, sunset and snow.

Mini Session Photography in Utah County

Family Mini sessions are a great way to get your family pictures done in a more casual, less expensive way. These quick 20 minute sessions will still get you some family shots, posed and candid, individuals of your kids, kids together, and mom and dad. Sometimes we have some time for mom/girls and dad/boys, or something similar. The difference is that with full sessions we will get way more of all the poses mentioned, plus more. And lots more of the family playing. I typically have more time to move around more and get a wider variety of backgrounds. But I have found that mini sessions (especially in the winter) work super well with the little ones!

Kids Stuffed Animal Brand

Lifestyle Product Photographer and Videographer

Lifestyle Product photography means any shoot that shows the product being used in every day life. It allows your customer to see themselves using it. For this Lifestyle Brand Photoshoot in Utah we used a mom and her two kids to model this accomplishment stuffed animal. For every item you accomplish, you get the velcro patch that attaches to the stuffed animal. We wanted to show the kids accomplishing the tasks on the patches, such as: bucking your seat belt, learning to read, write your name, go to school, tie your shoes, brush your teeth, etc. They also have a second one with stars reading 1-9, so those could be any other tasks.

This brand used these images to showcase their Amazon listing, but will also use them for advertising and social media presence. They also purchased a brand video from me, which is posted below.

Provo Utah Lake Family Photographer

I love this new location we shot at with the Wood family! Its super gorgeous, right in Provo along the Utah Lake, and has gorgeous views of the lake and surrounding Utah County mountains. It was a little muddy in places but not too bad, none of us walked away with mud on our feet!

The Woods could see this area from their backyard, so of course it was the perfect location for their Provo family photos.

Elegant and Formal Family Pictures
Great Saltair SLC

I love shooting at the Great Saltair in Salt Lake City. We walked back to the Salt Lake and it is just stunning!! It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the salt lake from the great saltair parking lot.

Great Saltair Family Photography

This family photography session at the great saltair was actually a mini session, but we might have gone over a little with all the walking. The sunsets are always so beautiful when we have some clouds in the sky. We were lucky to have an overcast evening so it gave it this dark and dreary look that actually turned out really cool!

These were taken in November, and when its cold outside you don't need to worry about bugs, which is great! We also didnt get in the water since it was so cold, so no need to bring towels or a pair of shoes for this session, however it was a little muddy so its never a bad idea to bring extra shoes just in case.

Elegant and Formal Family Pictures

When Daphni told me she wanted to dress really formal and elegant for these pictures at the great saltair, I just knew they would turn out stunning! Shes so great at dressing herself and her family! I love the all-black formal look. Her long silk dress with an amazing lace up back was gorgeous. I loved the high slit to show her shoes and leg in the pictures. The boys looked so handsome in their ties!
