This spot in
Vineyard, Utah is right along the
Utah Lake and it looks almost exactly like the Great Saltair without the drive/travel fees. There is a sandy area with tall green and golden grass, and a beach area that has sand and water. Its shallow out for a ways out so you can easily walk in the water for some stunning pictures at sunset. I highly recommend bringing shoes you can easily slip on and off to get into the water at the end, as well as towels to dry off your feet, and they get pretty muddy so a flip flop is a great option to walk back to the car in.
This location is best right before sunset, which can be late for smaller kids. Since we are near water, you should definitely bring bug spray.
