Utah has some really great places to see beautiful
blossoms in spring. Just by driving down the roads you'll see tons of blossoms in peoples yards, lining the streets and in parks. I have 3 favorite spots to see the
Cherry Blossoms in Utah.
Utah State Capitol Building
This is a dead giveaway.
Number one spot in utah for spring cherry blossoms is most definitely the state capitol building. The blossoms are in bloom the first week of April, and typically last around 2 weeks depending on weather. It's super crowded but you can walk around the entire building surrounded by blossoms on both sides of you. Its something you'd see out of a movie. Its super dreamy, despite all the people. If you are just going for a stroll to see them, try to go during the middle of the day. Avoid early morning and evenings when the light is good for photographers to beat the biggest crowds. Bring a picnic and enjoy the view!
Springville Civic Center Park
Similar to the Capitol building, but not nearly as big or crowded, Springville's city park is lined with
cherry blossom trees. The blossoms are in bloom the first week of April and typically last around 2 weeks depending on weather. I love this spot the most because its closest to me, which makes it way more convenient. Unlike the capitol building, you won't have to fight for parking or spots along the blossoms. It does still get crowded during sunset but a morning shoot, or getting there a little earlier than evening will help weed out any bigger crowds.
Provo Orchard
I absolutely love the look of Orchards! While these are apple blossoms not actually cherry blossoms, they give you the same springy vibe. These are in bloom end of April and typically last around 2 weeks depending on weather. You can get this same look in pretty much any orchard. You should call ahead of time if you plan to take pictures to see if they charge a fee. There are tons of
