I love shooting at the
Great Saltair in
Salt Lake City. We walked back to the
Salt Lake and it is just stunning!! It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to the
salt lake from the
great saltair parking lot.
Great Saltair Family Photography
This
family photography session at the great saltair was so beautiful and just breath taking. The sunsets are always worth waiting for. During this
SLC family photoshoot we had stormy skies and it gave us the longest sunset Ive ever seen! It lasted almost the entire session.
Tips for family photography at the great saltair
1. Bring bug spray
2. Bring shoes that can get muddy or cleaned easily, it can get pretty muddy by the lake!
3. Plan to walk in the water in the warmer months! It is SO gorgeous especially at sunset!
4. Bring towels to clean off your feet after being in the water, and you can use them to sit on to put back on shoes.
5. Bring a crate or laundry basket to carry all the towels, extra shoes (like flip flops), and bug spray in!
This
SLC family photoshoot was so fun because they were willing to run around and play, which always makes the best
family pictures! I am always a little worried about families with older kids, because I never want to suggest a pose they think is so lame or barely smile the whole time! But this family was so great! They loved doing fun things for their little sister and was totally willing and happy to be there!
